Uniform Families Foundation and Family Promise of Santa Clarita Valley are nonprofit partners. Two organizations, one community, and a shared promise that no family is left without food, clothing, or a place to turn.
Of Prime Rib, Filet Mignon, and Ribeye
UFF delivered 100 pounds of frozen prime rib, filet mignon, and ribeye, donated to UFF by Lawry's The Prime Rib in Beverly Hills, to Family Promise of Santa Clarita Valley. We also brought brand new clothing for the families and children Family Promise serves.
Every week, Family Promise hosts a workshop for the women in its program. The meat went home with those women that same night. Good food, from a great restaurant, on a family's table.
Who Family Promise Serves
Family Promise of Santa Clarita Valley has served local families with children facing homelessness since 2011 with shelter, meals, case management, and the support it takes to get back into stable housing. It is one of more than 200 Family Promise affiliates across the country.
In 2024 Family Promise opened the Williams Family Hope House in Newhall, a resource center with transitional apartments where families can regain their footing.
How This Partnership Works
Food
When UFF receives more food from our restaurant and grocery donors than our uniform families can use, Family Promise families are next in line.
Clothing and Goods
New clothing and household goods donated to UFF reach Family Promise families and children when there is more than our own families need.
Referrals
UFF and Family Promise point families to each other. A uniform family facing a housing crisis learns about Family Promise. A Family Promise family with a connection to the uniform learns about UFF.
