Future Service Members Forum
You want to serve. Talking to a recruiter, waiting on a ship date, in ROTC, or just thinking about it. A room for people on their way in, with veterans and service members who will tell you the truth.
You want this life. Hear it from the people living it.
Who This Room Is For
For Recruits, ROTC, and Anyone Deciding
Anyone considering or preparing to enlist or commission, with veterans and active service members answering questions.
Choosing
Which branch, which job, active or Guard or Reserve, and how to pick the one that fits your life.
The Real Job
The pay, the moves, the deployments, and the toll, straight from people who lived it.
Your Family
What service means for a spouse, kids, and parents, before you sign the papers.
How the Room Works
Private. Verified. Yours.
The conversation lives in the Uniform Families Foundation community on Circle, not on Facebook and not on this page. Every member is verified by us before they are let in. Request below, we confirm who you are, and your invitation comes by email.
- Verified service members and veterans only, plus family in the family room. We confirm service before anyone is let in and never share it.
- Nothing operational. No locations, dates, movements, or unit details that do not belong online.
- What is said in the room stays in the room. No screenshots, no reposting.
- Every branch is equal here. Leave the branch rivalry at the door, or at least keep it friendly.
- Respect every era: Vietnam to Iraq to Afghanistan to today.
- If someone is in crisis, we step in. The room is not a substitute for 988, press 1, the Veterans Crisis Line.

Why We Built This
Because You Should Know Before You Raise Your Hand
Uniform Families Foundation wants more good service members and more families who know what they are signing up for. This room is where the people who want to serve meet the people who have.
Uniform Families Foundation communities are peer support and are not a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis, call or text 988. Membership requires verification. We never share member information.
