Retired Medical Forum
Medical and Frontline | A Uniform Families Foundation Community
Retired Medical Forum
Thirty years of twelves. Thousands of patients. Then a last badge swipe and a quiet house. A room for retired nurses, techs, therapists, and physicians who gave their working lives to the floor.
The badge is turned in. The room stays open.
Who This Room Is For
For Medical Workers Who Finished
Retired and medically retired nurses, CNAs, techs, therapists, physicians, and hospital staff.
After the Floor
What the first year off shift work is really like, from people living it.
The Body
Backs, feet, knees, and the toll of a career on your feet. Compare notes and remedies.
Still Medical
Mentoring students, volunteering, per diem, and the pull to go back. You are still one of us.
How the Room Works
Private. Verified. Yours.
The conversation lives in the Uniform Families Foundation community on Circle, not on Facebook and not on this page. Every member is verified by us before they are let in. Request below, we confirm who you are, and your invitation comes by email.
- Verified medical workers only, plus family in the family room. We confirm employment or enrollment before anyone is let in.
- No patient details, ever. Talk about the shift, not the patient.
- What is said in the room stays in the room. No screenshots, no reposting.
- Every role is equal here: the CNA and the surgeon sit in the same room.
- No employer bashing by name. Talk about the work, not the hospital.
- If someone is in crisis, we step in. The room is not a substitute for 988.

Why We Built This
Because Retirement Is Its Own Diagnosis
The hospital throws a party and then the schedule that ran your life for thirty years is gone. Uniform Families Foundation built this room so the people who cared for everyone else have somewhere to be cared for.
Uniform Families Foundation communities are peer support and are not a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis, call or text 988. Membership requires verification. We never share member information.
