This Christmas morning, thousands of children across Southern California will open gifts with one parent missing. Not because that parent chose to be gone, but because a fire was burning, a call came in, a patient needed them, or a deployment order said so.

These are Uniform Kids. The children of firefighters, paramedics, law enforcement, medical staff, and military. They grow up inside their parent's service and they rarely get a break from it.

Every bid in this auction funds Uniform Kids holiday deliveries. A gift in their hands says what their parent cannot say from a shift: someone noticed you were out here too.
