Military Family Community
You count the days on the refrigerator. You move every two years. You are both parents for months at a time. A room for the spouses, partners, parents, and grown kids of service members and veterans, every branch.
They serve the country. You serve them.
Who This Room Is For
For the Families Behind the Uniform
Spouses, partners, parents, and adult children of active duty service members and veterans, from every branch.
Deployment
Counting the days, holding the house, and the phone call that did not come on schedule.
The Move
PCS orders, new schools, new jobs, and starting over every two or three years.
Homecoming
The bus, the sign, the reunion, and the hard weeks after that nobody talks about.
How the Room Works
Private. Verified. Yours.
The conversation lives in the Uniform Families Foundation community on Circle, not on Facebook and not on this page. Every member is verified by us before they are let in. Request below, we confirm who you are, and your invitation comes by email.
- Verified service members and veterans only, plus family in the family room. We confirm service before anyone is let in and never share it.
- Nothing operational. No locations, dates, movements, or unit details that do not belong online.
- What is said in the room stays in the room. No screenshots, no reposting.
- Every branch is equal here. Leave the branch rivalry at the door, or at least keep it friendly.
- Respect every era: Vietnam to Iraq to Afghanistan to today.
- If someone is in crisis, we step in. The room is not a substitute for 988, press 1, the Veterans Crisis Line.

Why We Built This
Because a Marine's Wife Knows the Countdown
Uniform Families Foundation was founded by a Marine's wife. She built Watching the Door for military spouses and this room for the whole family, because the President's Military Spouse Commission exists for a reason, and this is one of them.
Uniform Families Foundation communities are peer support and are not a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis, call or text 988. Membership requires verification. We never share member information.
